[What you will be working on]
• This role supports the end-to-end administration of Casino Taxes and Gambling Duties.
• Handle matters relating to policy and legislation on Casino Taxes and Gambling Duties.
• Responsible for assessment and compliance audit on casino operators, private clubs and Singapore Pools
• Handle enquiries across multiple contact channels (including telephone, via correspondence or through interviews)
• Stakeholder management including liaise with other government and regulatory authorities, ministries on all matters relating to casino taxes, gambling duties and other ancillary matters.
[What we are looking for]
• Bachelor’s Degree/Polytechnic Diploma (preferably in Accounting or Business Administration).
• Good knowledge of principles of accounting and taxation law.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of practical experience in auditing. Experience in the area of internal audit and evaluating adequacy internal controls is a plus.
• Meticulous and analytical.
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment
