We are seeking a Building Services Engineer to join us to help us create a hassle free environment for our clients and engineers.

The Building Services Engineer will:
Be suitably experienced to perform routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems, including all on-site HVAC equipment, mechanical plant equipment, and general plumbing maintenance.
Carry out o
planned maintenance to gas appliances and pipework in line with contract specification, industry guidelines and association with the company H&S policies.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of all mechanical plant equipment and systems, including: FCUs, AHUs, Calorifiers, ASHP, Heat exchangers, Pumps, and motors.
Work either as part of a maintenance team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or work independently on minor works projects without local supervision.
Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
Collaborate with the wider team to carry out mechanical and light electrical projects, upgrades, and minor installation works
Accurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) as required per contract.
Liaise closely with the electrical engineers to develop engineering solutions to meet clients requirements and budgets.
Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered
Have a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principals.
Participate on the companies on call rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.

About You
Essential Criteria
NVQ / C&G Level 3 in mechanical engineering, plumbing & heating and/or Level 3 mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship
Gas Safe Registration (Current)
Commercial gas, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TCPA1, Unvented Hot Water.
OFTEC 101, 102, 105, 600 or willing to undertake
Electrical qualifications - 18th edition C&G 2382
Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance
Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in building services
Current Full UK Driver’s License
ISOH Working Safely / CSCS Card
Normal eyesight colour vision
Desirable Criteria

High Voltage awareness training
Experience in planned & reactive maintenance
High Voltage awareness training
PASMA
IPAF Licence
Asbestos Awareness Training
