We’re really proud of our Repairs Team at Futures and their commitment to providing our customers with the best service possible, due to internal promotions we’re now on the hunt for a Plumber Drainage Engineer to join the team.
You’ll find with us perfect platform to showcase your high quality work and the skills you've gained in your career so far in Plumbing and Drainage and your NVQ in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent) will be an asset to you in this role.
You’ll be a great communicator as you’ll liaise with customers and Work Planners to ensure the Planned and Responsive works you do provide a great customer experience by being on time and to a high standard
A few key points from our role profile:
To carry out a range of Drainage & Plumbing works including multi-skilled work. Main duties to include inspecting, clearing and repairing drainage pipework, locating and repairing leaking cold water supply pipes. In addition, general domestic plumbing works, including repairs to rainwater goods, works to include making good to any areas disturbed by the work e.g., plaster patching, tiling, pipe boxing.
Coordinate with relevant Water Services Company to arrange appointments for issues found including leaks, water supply issues and sewage.
Alongside Assets Team, work with Water Services Company on any issued Section 75 notices involving private/shared water supplies to ensure issue is dealt with in a timely manner to minimise likelihood of fines.
Provide the main point of contact for internal teams on drains, working with in-house expertise in Development as well as external Site Agents, Developers and Contractors to monitor and unblock drains where required, as well as carrying out camera surveys.
Communicate with external Councils on a range of issues from environmental health to flooding problems, speaking with local councillors as well as relevant Highways Departments to problem solve, help and provide expert advice.
Be the Company’s main point of contact for all pest control, dealing with issues in-house where possible as well as coordinating with external contractors where required.
