Our client based close to Pleasley, Derbyshire, are looking for a highly organised, Administrator to join their well-established quality team on a permanent basis. This vacancy has become available due to an internal promotion.
Salary: £25,200 per annum
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the quality and technical teams with administration tasks for accountability and traceability purposes in monitoring the quality and safety of products which come in and out of the business and also maintaining the legal and technical foundations of the business.
Essential Requirements:
• Experience of working in a quality or manufacturing environment (Food manufacturing desirable)
• Excellent communicational skills (Written and spoken English)
• Previous administration skills and experience
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• An understanding of the importance of accuracy and the need to work to the highest standards
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines

Our client a Global manufacturing facility is looking to recruit a Quality Engineering to join their established team. With a strong customer-centric mindset, and great attention to detail you need to be able to work independently with the Quality team in supporting the wider operations team on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out release of product through the CoA system.
• Conduct weekly & monthly plant hygiene & pest audits to maintain BRC & AIB compliance.
• Support Site Quality Manager ensuring equipment is calibrated & serviced in accordance with internal schedule.
• Conduct & support Internal Audits to meet the requirements of the schedule.
• Collaborate with Production to develop and implement controls and improvements.
• Promote right first-time culture through the roadmap program.
• Investigate internal & external non-conformances to ensure root causes are identified and have robust corrective actions implemented.
• Investigate INC to find root cause.
• Support Site Quality Manager investigating complaints.
• Lead and participate in Quality improvement projects.
• Deliver process confirmation and SI Control to deliver reduction in variation of parameters in quality at machine and department level.
• Lead the laboratory technicians to ensure priorities are clear.
• Deputise for the Site Quality Manager

Requirements:

• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment ideally FMCG with 6 sigma training would be advantageous
• Experience of conducting audits & evaluating results
• Medium level of SAP / Shop floor Systems / Microsoft Office Excel / Minitab

Quality Assurance Co-ordinator

£27,900 weekly paid role with overtime available after 40 hours per week paid at £16.78 per hour

Our client, an established family-owned business, who are going through a substantial growth period have identified the need to recruit a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator this is an excellent opportunity as the company is investing heavily into the site with robotics and automation, whilst continuing to be committed to their customers, staff and the environment. They are based on the outskirts of Mansfield so own transport is essential and current driving license is a prerequisite for the role as you will be out and about each day, a company vehicle is provided to carry out all company business.


Job role

- Visiting client sites in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, and East Anglia to obtain product and water samples
- Completing routine analysing on the products back in the factory in line with specifications
- Working with field and factory teams to improve product yield data to help plan factory production
- Looking at areas of improvement

Person

- Current driving licence must be happy to drive different field locations on a daily basis
- Methodical mind and be process driven (full training will be given for the role)
- This role would suit someone from laboratory testing (physical not scientific background or Quality assurance within the food industry)
- You will need to physically fit as the role involves heavy lifting

They have about 300 fields and produce carrots, parsnip and leeks
You the field factory teams are agronomist (An agronomist focuses on optimizing crop production and sustainable agriculture practices. Agronomists possess expertise in various aspects of plant biology, soil science, and environmental management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of farming operations.)
