Role Summary:

The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements. Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

Your Role:

• Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions and uses to ensure that all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
• Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
• Operate various precision measuring tools, i.e. micrometers, vernier, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), in a warehouse environment, as well as hand tools, i.e. hydraulic torque wrench and fire torch.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
• Participate in CIP activities as needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
• Show a customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality workmanship.
• Demonstrate behavior that promotes team building and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

• Workshop experience.
• Knowledge of automation control and electrical components.
• Experience as a mechanic for rotating machines, mechanical devices or as a general mechanic.
• General certificate of education or vocational training.
• HS Diploma / GED and 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Have a sharp eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
• Capable of calculating basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and to convert one type of measurement into another.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly to peers, supervisors, and customers.
• Basic computer aptitude to use/learn data entry systems and to use Microsoft Office Package.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as required on short notice.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time able to safely lift, up to, 50 lbs.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position will cover the full sets of accounts and accounting reporting function. The role undertakes a range of responsibilities across Finance.

Responsibilities:

The person will be responsible for variety of tasks including:

• Ensure compliance with Flowserve policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory laws and regulations and that business is conducted within Flowserve ethical Code of Business Conduct.

• The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the financial reporting under US GAAP monthly and UK GAAP for local statutory accounting, independently manage the month close process for Financials, will be responsible for the data integrity in SAP and BPC (reporting tool).

• Work with regional SOX lead to ensure compliance.

• AR and AP management including liaising with Shared Service Centre on resolving issues.

• Perform/review monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

• Analyze and explain variances and trends against actuals, forecast, budget and prior periods.

• Provide input when required for business planning and forecasting process, working in partnership with the site Finance Business Partner.

• Work with the external auditors to make sure that all data and requirements are made available for audit and support the preparation of the group statutory accounts.

• Coordinate activities with internal and external auditors, and other external constituents (tax, regulatory, etc).

Requirements:

• At least 3 years relevant working experience.

• Previous experience working financial reporting/management accounting.

• Qualified Accountant or Finalist (ACMA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

• Experience with corporate accounting & reporting systems, preferably SAP or other ERP systems

• Proficient computer skills and excellent MS Office user. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are a must.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills are key for this role.

• Flexibility with occasional overtime and public holiday work.

• Fluent in English, written and oral.

• Team player and strong communication skills.

The successful candidates for 13 months will be working as part of the engineering team that is responsible for sales order engineering, new product development and end user support

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are varied and may include:

• Create new 3D component models, 2D detail design engineering drawings to support order engineering and product development projects

• Support and manage product engineering changes working with our manufacturing team, developing change notes and documentation for the change

• Support all other departments where necessary and ensure inter departmental cooperation is maintained

• To carry out investigations into product failures and application issues under the company’s returned goods system

• Develop jigs, tools in 3D design software and 3D print the part

• Use the local laser etchers for creating workflow more efficient

• Improve production process with using lean strategies

Role Summary:

The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s pumps, seals, and other equipment across industries such as oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, coal, and wastewater industries, depending on the customer engagement.
In this challenging position the Field Service Technician (FST) provides real-time technical support to our customers, and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The FST is actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities.
Our Field Service Technician team is the face of Flowserve, and we count on them to deliver a world-class service to our customers, creating a lasting competitive advantage for our products and services.

Your responsibilities:

• Make direct, in-person service calls in response to customer requests.
• Assess mechanical problems and take actions to resolve promptly.
• Work side-by-side with our customer’s personnel, and lead work crews as required.
• Oversee the full cycle of repair: disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly.
• Ensure that equipment is installed successfully and on schedule.
• Check equipment prior to start-up and assess start-up performance.
• Monitor the maintenance and performance of Flowserve equipment.
• Train customers in the proper procedures for operating and maintaining Flowserve products.
• Collaborate effectively with the supporting organizations of Flowserve, including the repair centers, customer service, and sales engineering.
• Maintain and submit organized, accurate records, including daily reports, jobs quoted, jobs performed, and time and materials charged.

Your profile:

• HS Diploma / GED or 3-5 years relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable in industrial applications and operations of pumps, valves, seals, actuators, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with installing mechanical equipment.
• Experience with repairing pump equipment, installing mechanical seals, changing seal faces/gaskets/O rings.
• Proven ability to correctly read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.
• Must be a self-starter with good follow-through, capable of working independently with little supervision.
• Capable in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• An active driver’s license with a good driving record is essential to the role.
• Able to travel, including globally, for extended periods of time.
• Able to work overtime as required to minimize impact to customers.
• Must be physically capable of frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds / 25kg, ascending/descending ladders and staircases, and climbing and reaching in, under, and around large equipment, often outside year-round.
