We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Trainer who shares our commitment to empowering individuals through personalized fitness. In this role, you will provide tailored training sessions designed to support each client’s unique goals and physical capabilities, guiding them to achieve lasting, impactful change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client’s Health & Fitness Journey:
- To understand and to design a personalised fitness program catered to their individual health goals/ needs.
- Demonstrate and coach the correct execution of exercises and movement patterns, ensuring clients perform them safely and effectively.
- Identify the risk factors of exercise and to take appropriate action to ensure safety of the client, particularly for those with pre-existing medical conditions.
- Applying the relevant principles of training at appropriate times to ensure positive fitness progression for every individual client.
- Monitor client progress and conduct necessary follow ups and review with client.
Equipment & Facility Maintenance Management:
- Assist in regular cleaning, sanitizing, and oiling of fitness equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment promptly to the Supervisors/ Managers.
- Coordinate with vendors to source quotations and arrange for necessary repairs or maintenance work as directed by the Company.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Working together with the team to curate and conduct various health talks and fitness experience sessions for public engagement and lead generation.
- Helping in the planning, organization and operation for events and workshops when required.
- Support Marketing Department in various contents for social media, blog articles and bite sized content for websites when needed.
Skills & Attributes:
- Qualification in Sports/Exercise Science, or certification in Personal Training
- Experience in personal training will be an advantage, however, we provide training for all levels for new employees.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of proper exercise techniques and strength training principles.
- Excellent customer service skills, essential for building long-term client relationships.
- Ability to provide clear and concise instructions, ensuring clients understand and follow exercise guidelines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Willingness to work non-office hours to accommodate to client’s schedule when needed.
This role requires a balance of technical and practical fitness knowledge, proactive safety measures, and exceptional customer service to enhance both the experience and well-being of clients.
