Position Summary
The Furniture Fixtures and Equipment Specialist is responsible for execution of project management and logistics coordination for FF&E related projects LT Athletic, LT Work, CapEx, and LT Living.
FF&E Specialist works with the Design Project Teams to manage overall FF&E efforts. This position includes working directly with the project teams and FF&E Manager - producing FF&E specifications, installation plans, solicit quotes from vendors, processing purchase orders, managing scope, schedule and budget with vendors and internal project teams. Manages project installations as required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Manages and maintains FF&E CapEx Smartsheet for internal steak holders
- Identifies and defines FF&E needs with internal stakeholders for projects as assigned
- Manages FF&E procurement, orders, and logistics for projects – to include PO’s, PO tracking, installation schedules with internal partners, project teams and vendors to meet project timelines and “grand opening” schedules
- Creates FFE budgets and manages to those budgets
- Manages on-site installations as required
- Ensure Master FF&E Specifications are maintained with up-to-date information, pricing, vendor contact information and lead times
- Strategizes ongoing process improvements for all Clubs, LT Work and LT Living
- Partners to keep Project Teams updated on any changes to FF&E specifications such as price increases, discontinued product etc.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Strong Project Management, leadership, organizational and problem solving skills
- Written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside Life Time
- Fundamental understanding of design programming, planning principles, materials, and furnishings
- Comprehensive understanding of furniture specifications and technical information pertaining to FF&E
- Problem solving skills, taking initiative and making appropriate decisions based on experience, standards and location needs
- Ability to work with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment.
- Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing
- Travel to sites as necessary
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Interior Design and/or Project Management
Years of Experience:
- 5-8 years’ experience as FF&E Specialist, Interior Designer and/or Project Manager
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
- Certified Interior Designer preferred
