Job Title: Independent Medical Education (IME) Business Unit Lead

Role Overview:
The IME Business Unit Lead is a pivotal role to support the IME Business Units continued growth with exceptional delivery of Independent Medical Educational programmes. The Lead will shape and optimise our IME solutions to ensure we meet our commitment to provide healthcare professionals with high quality medical education using our website Medthority.
A high-profile role, the Business Unit lead will be responsible for the overall performance of our IME Business Unit. This includes sales, revenue, forecasting and resource coordination. Working with global partners, accrediting bodies, and providers this role will redefine online medical education for healthcare professionals.
The person will have an in-depth knowledge of our Medthority solutions and be a thought leader in the industry, particularly with accreditation solutions. Setting new standards for IME (and CME) Medthority will set the new benchmark and exceed the expectations of both pharmaceutical customers and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the strategy and tactics to meet the overall EPG Health business objectives, sales and revenue targets
- Continue to build a high functioning team
- Develop best in industry IME (and CME) solutions for the modern-day healthcare professional
- Inform, review, and submit grant or IME proposals and submissions
- Establish and maintain informal relationships with Pharma based grant officers (where practical)
- Review and consider (our) suitability to respond to Pharma issued requests for proposals (RFP’s)
- Lead and communicate the account strategy to the Business Unit and Programme Success Group (PG)
- Regularly communicate the pipeline to the Business, Business Unit, PSG and operations to support resource and capacity management
- Support with development and enhancement of the proposal/submission decks/documents for successful proposals
- Co-ordinate the delivery of reporting and project reconciliation to the funding entity where required
- Inform platform team of technical solutions that can enhance the Medthority offering
- Manage forecast, pipelines and other critical information required to achieve revenue targets
- Plan, monitor, and analyse key metrics that will inform performance metrics for sponsored programmes
- Implement changes aligned to key performance metrics
- Ensure that processes and procedures are followed across the Programme Success Group team to facilitate delivery within agreed costs and timelines
- Be available to support with challenges and issues that might arise with delivery
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the Programme Success Groups (PSGs)
- Ensure that programme objectives are clear and understood across the PSG
- Adhere to the company's policies and standards, and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed
Qualifications and skills:
- Industry thought leader
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales and IME grant submissions
- In depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical grant process
- Masterful organisational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
- Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry, production, finance, and employee management
- Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
- Masters science degree (or equivalent)
- Experience in sales, budgets, and business plans
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
