Responsibilities:

Respond to calls for non emergency medical assistance, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or bandaging a wound.

Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment.

Provide first-aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured patients.

Transport patients safely in an ambulance.

Follow protocols and guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care.

Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment.

Requirements: Certification as an EMT.

Proven experience in the field is preferred.

Strong decision-making skills and ability to perform effectively in stressful situations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver patients.

Valid driver’s license if any.

This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and swift transportation of patients to medical facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for navigating through traffic, maintaining the ambulance, and assisting EMTs with patient care as needed.

Responsibilities:

Drive the ambulance to and from emergency and non-emergency scenes in a safe and timely manner.

Assist with loading and unloading patients from the ambulance.

Ensure that the ambulance is clean and stocked with medical supplies at all times.

Adhere to all traffic and emergency response laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate logs of mileage, maintenance, and other reports as required.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Certification in BCLS and AED.

Experience in emergency response driving is preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

Physical ability to lift and transport patients as needed.
