Leisure Assistant

As a Leisure Assistant you will support the Leisure Club Manager to ensure the smooth running of the health club. As a Senior Wedding & Special Events Manager you'll lead our team of 2 wedding managers. To be considered for this role you must have experience managing a team and enjoy keeping a team motivated and engaged. As a team of 3 you will be at the heart of our hotel, turning initial enquiries into unforgettable experiences. Prepare to shine as you conduct captivating show rounds, showcasing our venue to the local wedding market. From start to finish, you'll be involved in planning our guest’s events up to the day, effectively communicating their requirements to our operational team who will then run the event on the day.

This is a full-time role that involves working a variety of shifts including 8:00am-16:30pm / 9:00am-17:30pm / 09.30am-18:00pm / 11:30am-20:00pm. Weekend working is shared between the team and we aim for the team to work every other weekend, although flexibility is required to cover holidays.

Your skills and experience:

• You will have previous experience in a wedding co-ordinator/planner role, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
• You will have experience managing a team
• You are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests

Joining the hotel maintenance team, as a Painter and Decorator, you will carry out any painting and decorating tasks within the hotel to the highest standard. De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor are seeking an Assistant Night Manager to join the team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the nightly hotel operation, runs smoothly, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests, and maintaining our high standards of service.

As Assistant Night manager you will look after our guests and the Hotel between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week. Are you an experienced and dynamic HR Manager with a passion for the hospitality & events industry?

We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Director to join the team at De Vere Wokefield Estate, a large prestigious events-focused hotel near Reading, with a team of circa 300 employees. This role involves working on site at De Vere Wokefield Estate on a full time basis, with paid travel, as required, to other De Vere properties.

As the People & Culture Director for De Vere Wokefield Estate you will report to our Group Head of People & Culture and oversee the Hotels People & Culture Manager & Co-ordinator on site with a focus on strategic activities to manage payroll costs, drive recruitment, focus on compliance, learning and development and employee engagement, to help foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the Hotel’s goals and objectives.

With support from our central Talent Acquisition team you will take a lead in attracting, selecting, and developing top talent, building high-performing teams that contribute to unforgettable events.

You will collaborate with our central People & Culture team, department heads, managers, and employees to provide guidance, support, and solutions to HR-related challenges, driving initiatives that enhance HR processes, policies, and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.

The successful candidate will have;
• Previous HR management experience within a large or multi-site hotel, hospitality, events, care or retail environment
• The ability to influence senior colleagues and managers through a confident and knowledgeable approach of HR best practise
• A forward thinking & bright personality, with an intuitive, highly organised and strategic approach
