Position Purpose / Context
Task to ensure Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages Private Limited (CCSB) operation is always in full compliances with all regulatory requirement on Safety/ Fire Safety/ Covid-19/ Health/ Environmental/ Security & provide adequate training & support on the latter to all stakeholders in SGCD operations
Key Duties / Responsibilities
1. Task to ensure Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages Private Limited (CCSB) is in compliances with all local regulatory & KORE requirement on environmental, health, safety & Covid-19 compliances
2. To receive regular updates on any changes to regulatory requirement & make appropriate changes/updates to the legal register under EHS
3. To advise CCSB’s stakeholders on any non-compliance/legal issue on safety/fire safety/Covid-19/health/environmental/security that may impact CCSB’s business operations in Singapore
4. Appointment as Safe Management Officer (SMO) for Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages Private Limited during COVID-19 pandemic to ensure workplace is safe for all staff to work
5. To conduct weekly safety/fire safety/Covid-19 inspection of SGCD Tuas/JB Warehouse/PP Office facility to ensure no non-compliance issue that may impact CCSB’s operation at SGCD Tuas
6. To conduct weekly safety/fire safety/Covid-19 inspection of Pasir Panjang Office, JBWH and SGCD/offices/workshop/store to ensure no non-compliance issue that may impact CCSB’s operation at Pasir Panjang Interlocal Center
7. Establish and cascade safety programs, policies, and processes for the day-to-day operations.
8. Evaluate and provide direction to strengthen the environment, and occupational safety and health programs, strategic plans, and performance in the site/facility/area assigned, both inside and outside the facility, where it operates (e.g., fleet and road safety, as applicable).
9. To lead incident investigation and submit on-line reporting of iReport to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) when work incident occurs in CCSB’s operation
10. To prepare & provide Risk Assessment (RA), Method Statement (MOS) and Safe Work Procedures for our Sales Vending operation team to be submitted to customers to comply with local regulatory requirements before commencement of any installation/repair/removal work activities at customers’ outlets
11. To assist officers from local authority – Singapore Police Force (SPF), Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), National Environment Agency (NEA) during unannounced site visit to Pasir Panjang Interlocal Center office at 8th & 3rd floor & SGCD Tuas Warehouse/Office
12. To maintain & upkeep CCSB’s facility at Pasir Panjang Interlocal Center office & SGCD Tuas Warehouse/Office respectively
13. Monthly reporting to Supply Chain senior team members on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on LTIR, TIR, FACR, TSI and VCR. Analyze the Safety and Environment Safety performance results and trends, and provides feedback to the Site Management on the effectiveness of implementation
14. Recommend improvement program/initiatives on safety & vehicle safety defensive driving to improve overall safety in SGCD operation
15. Drive implementation of safety and health programs, life saving rules and to maintain compliance to meet both business & legal requirements and to increase safety awareness among employees.
16. To ensure all risks at workplace are assessed and adequate control measures are put in place.
17. Provides safety leadership to the Plant Management Team to ensure that safety goals, objectives and initiatives
18. Establish procedures for evaluating safety and health hazards associated with new process, equipment, or materials, and recommend methods to control hazards.
19. Assures key safety and health equipment such as emergency alarms, fire detection & protection systems and pressure vessels are maintained and inspected.
20. Directs the plant medical program that includes:
- onsite first aid and nearby emergency medical care to reduce the risk of any injury or illness that occurs and
- periodic medical surveillance for those included in the Hearing Conservation and Respiratory Protection
programs.
21. Plan and prepare for emergencies and conduct training and drills, as needed, to ensure that everyone know how to properly respond to emergencies.
22. Coordinate the planning of and help conduct safety training for all employees to maintain compliance and assure associates have necessary skills and knowledge to support safety & health programs and initiatives.
23. Maintain all necessary documentation including those necessary to establish safety and health program implementation, workplace safety and health evaluations and control actions, safety equipment inspection programs, injury and illness logs and summaries, incident investigations and corrective actions, and employee training programs.
24. Ensures all internal and external correspondence is in accordance with the Company requirements.
25. Maintains safe and healthy working environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
26. To manage good stakeholder relationship with all the Safety related Local Government agencies
(not limiting to) :-
a. Local Fire Station
b. State Fire Dept
c. Fire Fighting vendors and its adherence to local laws
d. State Dept of Safety and health (DOSH)
e. Local Polis station
f. State Police
g. Industrial Safety Committee member for the region
