Job Summary:

They are currently seeking a talented and creative Commercial Interior Designer to join their team. The Commercial Interior Designer will be responsible for designing and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for our commercial properties. This role will involve collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to develop innovative design concepts that align with our clients' vision and brand identity.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct client meetings to understand their requirements and design preferences
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed interior design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that meet design specifications and budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to commercial interior design

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience in commercial interior design, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools
- Strong knowledge of design principles, including space planning, colour theory, and materials selection
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics

Role Type & Salary:

This will be a fulltime permanent position with a salary of $75,000 per year.

Location:

Centrally located in North Sydney - just a few minutes walk from North Sydney Station to work.
