JOB DESCRIPTION: Volunteer workers
JOB OVERVIEW:
A Church based in Bellingham UK, is looking for Charity Workers; to work as Volunteer workers. The Volunteer workers will have a desire to work with all age group, helping them to integrate with the Church. The church serves a multi-ethnic community.
The church will provide maintenance and the cost of living. Working 30 hours per week and the role will require weekend working.
Length of contract: Initially for 1 year.
PRIMARY ROLE:
Working alongside the lead minister in communicating the priorities of the church under the vision of COPIM.
DUTIES INCLUDES:
• Helping in Ushering during the church services and all church meetings.
• Helping in preparing the church premises during the church worship services and all other church meetings.
• Helping in clearing the church premises after the church worship services and all other church meetings.
• Supporting in picking up and sorting essentials, food parcels, and groceries from different warehouses, retailers, and companies and deliver them to the main church premises.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Candidate should have excellent communication and listening skills, initiative, enthusiasm and motivation, good organisational and planning skills, good negotiating skills, and commitment to equal opportunities also have IT skills in Word and Excel.
Strong knowledge and ability to speak, read, and write in English and a second language would be a plus.
Proven ministry experience in a Pentecostal Church is beneficial.
