You are responsible for
- Performing the role of a test Engineer along with test automation
- Participate in Review of Test deliverables
- Handle the estimation, planning , resource identification and risk management activities related to test automation
- Use/Propose to team on suitable test automation approach
- Automation test case development, review, execution, reporting and traceability
- Ownership of completeness of all automation test documents
- Manages technical communication within team and partners/stakeholders
- Participates in automation improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
- Look for the opportunities of test automation in the assigned areas & aim to achieve committed automation coverage
- Ownership of Test automation for the scope of work responsible
- Provide status update to management on overall automation progress
You are a part of Global Image Guided Therapy -Devices, System Test team, working on CATHLAB solutions and Interventional applications which aids the clinicians in performing the clinical procedures. As a Test automation engineer, you will be closely working with development team, system designers to do the automation feasibility study and to improve the automation test coverage of our clinical applications, thereby enabling the faster feedback cycles & reducing the time to market.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Bachelor degree in engineering or other relevant discipline
- 5 to 9 years of experience on test discipline, test strategy, test automation preferably System/product testing
- Hands on Experience with System Testing and automation framework development is preferred
- Experience in healthcare industry is preferred
- Very strong Programming skills (preferably C#) is a must.
- Good experience on automation tools, scripting languages is required
- Strong work Experience with BDD, Gherkin, Specflow, Visual Studio, N unit framework and API testing is a must.
- Strong experience in application life cycle management tools like ALM/PTC/TFS used for Verification activities
- Good understanding of the defect management procedures and tools.
- Good understanding of configuration management & related tools is required.
- Expertise in automation test strategy, test design skills and able to guide the team on these.
- Good understanding/experience in SAFe way of working.
- Showcasing knowledge on performance, reliability and load testing through automation.
- Expertise in development, testing and debugging skills is a must
In return, we offer you a Test automation engineer role, wherein you will get to work on C#, Specflow, BDD using our test automation framework. You will be part of the system test automation team and will work on automating the clinical features, performance requirements and deploy the test suite on CI/CD. You will be a key contributor to faster deliveries by reducing the overall test effort & improvising the quality of deliverables & assisting in being ‘first time right’.
