Job Description:
1. Leading business development in the Asia-Pacific Region:
• LNG value chain: To oversee projects related to FSUs, FSRUs, LNG power vessels/barges, small-scale LNG carriers, and LNG fuel supply vessels.
• Other energy areas: To focus on renewable energy and GHG reduction initiatives, including hydrogen, ammonia, bio-fuels, and offshore wind power.
*(note) the successful candidate will not be involved in conventional LNG shipping businesses.
2. Leading commercial management of existing contracts:
· To oversee and manage the commercial aspects of current business contracts.
3. Leading customer relationship management:
· To develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the market.
Job Requirements:
A. Have LNG shipping industry experience for over 5 years, at least, with involvement in projects related to one or more aforesaid assets.
B. Have experience in participation in and organizing shipping procurement tenders, preferably with involvement in projects related to one or more aforesaid assets.
C. Have experience in and dealt with counterparties key project contracts, such as time charter parties, shipbuilding contracts, shareholders agreements and non/limited-recourse finance agreements.
D. Have strong network within the oil and LNG industries.
E. Have extensive experience and knowledge in finance, particularly project/ECA finance of oil and gas/LNG projects.
F. Have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
G. A bachelor's degree in engineering (naval architecture, mechanical engineering) or finance/accounting/economics/business, or equivalent, is an advantage.
H. Occasional overseas trips are expected.
