THE ROLE

- Operating Counter Balance FLT's

- Organising goods in the warehouse

- Working in a busy manufacturing environment

- Flexible to undertake hand balling duties

- Loading and unloading wagons

- Ensuring completion of paperwork

- Daily truck tests to be carried out at the beginning of everyday

THE PERSON

- You will be physically fit, have the ability to lift and handle stock.

- You must hold a valid Counterbalance certificates

- We are looking for someone who is a self-motivator and team player.

- Experience operating Forklift trucks in the work place

- Flexible to undertake additional duties such as Warehousing or Quality disciplines.

THE PACKAGE

- Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm

- £11.44 an hour

- Temp to Perm

Randstad Engineering are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers in the Newcastle area (NE16). The position is working in a warehouse for a company who specialise in shop fitting and store design. The position is paying £11.44 an hour on a shift of 7am to 3pm. The position is available for start asap.

Requirements

• Valid Forklift licence

• Previous experience working warehouse, production, pick/packing roles

Basic: Up To £35,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am till 5.30pm & 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am till 1pm

• Clients include market leading rental and leasing companies.
• You will also be carrying out basic mechanical work in the field e.g., Routine Servicing, Brake Pads & Disc Replacement

• Hours of work will be 8.00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings (8am - 12.30pm)

THE PERSON

• The successful Motor Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Technician must have similar experience e.g., Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician etc.
• Experience of mobile mechanic / field-based mechanic is desired but not essential
• A mechanic in the “fast fit” industry would also be suitable
• Experience of using a diagnostics machine
• You must have a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
• This is a customer facing role so you must be well presented with a good customer service attitude
• You will ideally be based in or around Croydon
