We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to support Research & Development to support our post-award R&D Finance Team at Barts Health NHS Trust.

The unit is a NHS research facility at Hammersmith Hospital in west London. It is located at the heart of one of the UK’s most research-intensive universities, Imperial College. It provides a dedicated, well-equipped and professional environment that enables medical staff and scientists to worktogether to investigate disease and trial the latest scientific ideas for improving diagnosis and treatment.

The CRF provides comfortable clinical accommodation for volunteers and patients participating in studies requiring 24h in-house monitoring as well as facilities for day case visits. It is equipped to cater for complex studies from across the range of medical disciplines and provides close proximity space for clinical research fellows, nurses and allied healthcare professionalsOur portfolio of early phase oncology and haematology studies is increasing and we are therefore looking for a motivated, skillful and knowledgeable SACT trained nurse, who works well as part of a team. • The aim of this job is to provide best care to volunteers and patients participating in clinical research studies in the Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF) with a focus on oncology and haematology trials.
• You are expected to carry out procedures and investigations on research participants according to study protocol, Trust and local policies. The post holder will be expected to advocate for patients and empower them to make informed choices concerning their involvement in clinical research studies by providing advice and information. The post holder will work with a high level of autonomy, taking delegated responsibility from clinicians for clinical decision making, and will work closely with investigators and multidisciplinary staff. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of an agreed clinical research portfolio at K&W Healthcare. Job Summary: On a normal day, you will: Work autonomously to manage the research portfolio, whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary Maintain effective communication with patients, carers and professionals to ensure service delivery. As technician coach, you will be responsible and accountable for the health and safety of the specialist ward and laboratory, inventory, stock control and issuing of classroom materials to support teaching staff, and supporting small groups of learners with practical skills and progress.
You will lead and manage the relevant areas and stock, as well as supporting the department with learner progress, experience and practical skills, leading to wider participation and excellent achievement in various vocational courses offered in the department.
