Responsibilities

• Site Product Manufacturing and Release Support. Provide front line support to the product manufacturing process analytics, release testing and working with the QC teams (internal sites), or in close collaboration with CDMO Analytical Expert counterparts, focusing on the testing methods for each batch, their release on time and in compliance with the batch and analytical procedures instructions and quality requirements.
• Qualification & Validation. • Primary packaging closure assessment during changes. Drive the qualification and/or validation of primary packaging materials testing methods including the design of container suitability studies for the assigned product(s). Evaluate and ensure, in case of packaging change, that the primary packaging closure - including materials - are sufficient to ensure stability of the product and do not deteriorate quality.
• Assure consistency of Analytical Testing Procedures. Ensure that all critical and significant parameters are within written Instruction (e.g., Testing procedures, Validation Plan), sufficient and appropriate for the product. Derive in collaboration with the internal sites (QC team) / CDMO analytical team, the upper and lower control limits for each product analytical methods (where relevant), as part of the CPV program launch for all products
• Deviation, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, complaint handling. Lead and/or support the GPS organization with all product and process related analytical investigations and deviations including complaints, Out of Expectation, Out of Specification, in partnership with internal / external site analytical teams. Use scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures.
• Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Reviews. Be highly knowledgeable of product and process trends by providing input to Annual Product Reviews and Product Quality Review for analysis and for driving process technology innovations. Be a resource to other departments as Subject Matter Expert for the product and process knowledge.

Requirements

• BSc. In Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent scientific degree. Desirable MSc. or equivalent experience.

Educational Requirements:

• Generate research themes or topics. Regular horizon scanning to identify global, regional and local industry and business trends of relevance to the accountancy profession.
• Develop and roll out research proposals that would enhance the Institute’s thought leadership and advocacy position.
• Collaborate with relevant partners, industry stakeholders, and/or government agencies to drive research projects and agendas that are relevant and of interest to the accounting profession.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality research outputs that are produced within budget allocation.
• Identify appropriate research approaches, including prepare survey questionnaires, focus group discussion questions, interview questions, etc.
• Collect, analyse and interpret data and results.
• Present research results and write reports for publication.
• Work closely with the Communications Department to effectively publicise the research outputs via available media and communications platforms.
• Produce commentaries for CA Lab on emerging business trends and developments that impact the profession.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Economics or Political Science.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in research-related work.
• Keen interest in latest business trends and developments. Curious and always on the lookout for areas/topics that interest the accountancy and business community.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to grasp issues and acquire knowledge in new domains.
• Analyse multiple sources of information and data to derive insights for research purposes and to write reports and commentaries.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to facilitate group discussions will be an added advantage.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Team player with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookup, etc. Familiar with survey tools such as SurveyMonkey.

We are looking for someone:

• Involve in full suite of experience studies including assumptions recommendation, maintenance, and financial impact analysis as in the areas of reserve (IFRS17 and local basis), new business value and new business CSM.
• Involve in IFRS17 policyholder experience gain/loss reporting and to provide deeper analysis of underlying contributors.
• Involve in the regular experience monitoring and highlight/ investigate variance in experience and its root cause.
• Involve in experience monitoring Power BI tools development working with regional and local analytic teams.
• Assist in the inforce management projects to deep dive on experience drivers and propose recommendations to improve customer experience and inforce value to the company. This includes close collaborations with various stakeholders on different inforce management initiatives.
• Assist in any other projects as assigned.

Nice to Have:

• Good progress of actuarial exams.
• At least 4-5 years of working experience with good understanding of data, actuarial experience monitoring and insurance business know-how.
• In-dept knowledge of insurance products and their earnings attributes.
• Creative, thinking out of the box, meticulous to details, effective communications and planning are key elements for success.
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, Words, Power Point) and Power BI (or any equivalent visualization software).
• Knowledge of IFRS17 and local regulatory are added advantage.
• Team player oriented as well as can follow up tasks independently.
• This is an individual contributor role.
