ROLE OVERVIEW (maternity cover):
This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the launch and execution of a new lifestyle brand, delivering ‘brilliantly considered stays’ across 10 locations in Europe.
Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, we are looking for a passionate and strong Senior Marketing Manager to help lead the marketing team, coordinating the launch plan of the brand, the individual hotels, and their F&B outlets.
This is a unique position in shaping the launch of a brand from scratch.
You will develop the programming and partnerships for each hotel alongside the dedicated local and global PR agencies and will ensure Miiro’s objectives and goals are developed and implemented.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MARKETING & BRAND STRATEGY
Marketing Strategy: To guarantee success in this role, the candidate needs to have a good understanding of how to develop, execute and deliver a strategic marketing plan for the launch of the brand, individual hotels, and the respective food and beverage outlets. You will help to develop marketing campaigns and initiatives, creating budgets and timelines, and coordinate with the internal teams to ensure successful implementation. You will need to have a self-directed drive to seize opportunities for commercial growth.
Brand: Be a brand ambassador for Miiro as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our team. Ensure that when executing our marketing strategy, all channels have brand consistency, are aligned in achieving ROI and raise awareness of the brand, hotels, and F&B outlets.
Collaborate with internal teams: Working closely with the individual hotel teams – sales, revenue management and operations to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
PROGRAMMING & PARTNERSHIPS
Partnerships: Proactively suggest new promotions and partnerships for F&B outlets and the hotel. Manage F&B calendar of events and promotions plus analyse and report on campaign performance. Oversee photoshoots.
Programming: Plan and execute a range of events across the brand pillars, providing opportunities for data capture and database building. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools that support the programme and content strategy.
Evaluate and present new opportunities across existing and emerging digital platforms for collaborative campaigns.
DIGITAL & SOCIAL MARKETING
Working closely with the Director of Marketing to creatively approach the design and delivery of strategic campaigns, including creative development, social media, email marketing, paid advertising and website landing pages.
Website: Manage and maintain the websites, ensuring all content is optimised to meet business objectives.
E-Marketing: Oversee the newsletter calendar, producing engaging content for maximum return.
Social Media Management: Help to manage social media channels and plan relevant content for each hotel and the overarching brand, together with the agencies and in accordance with brand guidelines. Assist in increasing engagement, followers and brand awareness.
Reporting & Analysis: Demonstrate solid ability to report on web and digital activities alongside strategic recommendations.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in F&B marketing (restaurants and bars).
Fluent in English and French.
Solid attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong written and communication skills.
Analytical approach to problem solving.
Knowledge of reporting tools like Google Analytics, plus design programmes like Indesign and Photoshop.
Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, passion and the ability to motivate others.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Openness to travel to the different European cities.
