At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking to for a Graduate Sales & Events Coordinator to join the team on a 12-month FTC.

As our Sales and Events Coordinator, you will be supporting the team to ensure all enquires are responded to and business is converted in a timely manner and in line with the sales strategy ensuring deadlines are met. You will need to work in a flexible and collaborative way across operational and non-operational departments. You will need to Co-ordinate and communicate all VIP bookings, Fam Trips and Client Entertainment ensuring you approach site visits proactively with a view to ‘wow’ potential clients. You must ensure you provide a helpful and professional image within the hotels and that you have flexibility to support the customer journey as clients arrive at the hotels e.g., site visits pre-con’s and out of hours site visits.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need high attention to detail and planning. You will be maintaining the central filing system for the department, complete the coordination and completion of the month end sales report whilst providing administration support to the sales and events team as need and most of all you must remain focused when deadlines, priorities and practices change.

To be a success this role you will need:
- Excellent written, verbal communication and organisational skills.
- 1 years’ experience in hospitality industry
- The ability to co-ordinate with other department heads to ensure quality of guest/group satisfaction.
- Experience with building relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders
- A well-developed commercial acumen.
- To work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
- To possess excellent research skills and analytical abilities.
- To demonstrates collaboration with other departments.
- Knowledge of Opera, Delphi, Office 365, Cvent various 3rd party's vendor sites
