The Firearms Specialist provides a Dress Blue Experience and executes departmental procedures and follows all firearms regulations. Reports to the Department Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Operations Manager or Store Manager.

Focuses on delivering a best-in-class customer experience and driving strong customer engagement with the firearms department.  Focuses on solution-based selling, offering applicable accessories and services to the customer in addition to the firearm.  Required to strictly adhere to all governing bodies¿ processes/requirements including but not limited to: ATF, FFL, DOD, Marine Corps, State, Corporate and local command for selling, handling, receiving, transferring, inventory management, and records management for all weapons and ammunitions.

Communicates with management to support customer inventory requests and general business needs.  Uses exception reporting to identify merchandise categories requiring corrective action to protect sales and customer service levels. Follows the special-order process according to standard processes. Supports advertisement and promotional set up requirements including, merchandising, signing, pricing and other tasks as needed. 

Must be flexible to support the operations of the building/command they work in.   Will actively engage with Sales Managers on all departmental operations including ensuring RIMA (Retail Inventory Management Application) scans are completed and follow through is executed to include inventory adjustments when necessary. Supports and participates year-end inventory planning, execution and researching variance reports.  

Will be asked to support store operations in areas of POGs (Planograms), replenishing the sales floor, managing on hand integrity, receiving of products, backroom organization, customer program engagement, cash register duties and other operational tasks both within and outside of the assigned department. May be periodically assigned to work in other areas of the store (outside firearms) when firearms workload is not present, is significantly diminished, or there is more staffing than required workload within firearms.

Mentors, trains and leads by example for firearms employees to achieve best practice and brand standards. 

Maintains highest service levels, and communicating with all stakeholders, including customers, associates and all management levels.  Completes all required training to maintain Firearms eligibility. May work outside of retail in other firearms activities within MCCS including but not limited to the firing range, or target practice facility.

May maintain some or all key holder standards; Opening, closing, vendor management, light custodial duties and register operations/cash handling.  May require additional training, certifications or licenses as required by the business / position including but not limited to, food safety training and military star card access. Participates in year-end inventory. Identifies and communicates potential risk of loss and/or theft.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Delivers a Dress Blue Experience to all customers throughout the customer's shopping journey every day.  Strongly promotes the cultivation of MCX corporate culture, mission, core values and promotes Marine Corps Community Services at the store level. Articulates MCX value stories and engages with all management and team members through conversations, modeling behaviors, supporting store team-centric initiatives and driving team member satisfaction.  Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 45 lbs. with assistance may be required.  May require loading and unloading of trucks, carts, or pallets. 

Responsible for providing advanced product knowledge, educated recommendations and Dress Blue Experience to all customers throughout their Marine Corps Exchange shopping experience. Responsible for meeting personal and department sales goals. Coach Sales Associates on product knowledge areas related to particular categories such as: electronics, shoes, jewelry/accessories, firearms, military clothing or other assigned areas. May be scheduled at the checkout, other departments sales areas, specialty category or customer service desk for coverage. Reports to the Sales Manager. Takes advantage of all training opportunities to develop selling skills in product categories. Works with Team Members to develop their product knowledge within the category. Remains committed to learning about the brands and products sold within the store. Educates customers on product questions and provides suggestions when needed. Relays customer comments and concerns to the Sales Manager. Identifies opportunities to produce add-on sales through suggestive and consultative selling. Ensures all sale, ad and promotional items are signed and placed according to brand standards. Works with the Sales Manager to achieve daily and weekly sales goals. Assists Sales Managers and Brand Integrity Manager in the planning and execution of all corporate sales programs, promotions and other events where merchandise is involved. Builds and nurtures loyal MCX customers. Encourages and empowers all team members to identify opportunities to resolve customer problems and concerns before they happen. Communicates any outstanding problem resolution issues with the Experience Manager. Understands and articulates all MCX value stories, programs and promotions. Recognizes the core values and mission of the Marine Corps Exchange. Identifies and reduces all risks of loss and/or theft. Actively engages in organizational training opportunities that develop personal and professional skills related to: time management, emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, career planning, public speaking and small group leadership. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join us and provide legal support to our Enterprise Systems and Experience (ESE) organization. You will play a crucial role in supporting Autodesk's infrastructure and system capabilities and readiness in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will manage one Senior Corporate Counsel to advise on and manage legal affairs on a broad range of issues including contract, intellectual property, vendor management, systems integration, data related issues, AI, compliance, corporate policy and any other issues affecting Autodesk's goals and long-term strategies. You also will work with other professionals in the legal department on a variety of matters, including the development and execution of policies, procedures and processes.

You will report to our VP of Legal, and this position is hybrid, based in the SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Legal Business Partner: Serve as the primary contact all legal issues for the ESE organization, playing a proactive business partner role and building a trusted advisor relationship with its' leadership, while providing strategic counsel to all levels

• Policies and Procedures: Collaborate with ESE team to develop, review, and update ESE policies and procedures, including acceptable use policies, incident response plans, and disaster recovery plans. Ensure policies are aligned with legal requirements and best practices

• Contract Review and Negotiations. Review, draft and negotiate contracts with IT vendors, service providers and other third parties, including in-bound technology licensing, AI, consulting and development agreements, service provider, SAAS agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. Support vendor management related matters, appropriately escalate potential issues and disputes

• Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to IT operations. Ensure our IT practices and policies align with legal requirements, including data privacy, security, intellectual property, and contracts

• Risk Management: Develop and present relevant training materials. Communicate new laws or policies. Identify potential legal risks and propose risk mitigation strategies related to IT operations

• Collaboration: Participate in legal department working groups, partnering with other department staff including privacy and security counsel, procurement counsel, data analytics counsel, and others to promote consistency and best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience practicing law (well-regarded law firm experience preferred)

• Excellent academic credentials

• Business acumen, ability to work with cross-functional teams and take a leadership role in driving solutions

• Prior people management experience preferred

• Exercise excellent legal judgment to enable rapid business execution while mitigating risk

• Broad knowledge of contract, intellectual property and commercial law matters

• Expertise in managing and drafting a variety of contracts and in negotiating all types of commercial transactions

• Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent teamwork skills, able to interact comfortably with senior leaders

• Bar admission in good standing

The Sr. Counsel we seek will work directly with internal clients and external parties, advising on contracting strategy in addition to contracting issues and disputes and will handle, prioritize, and follow through on a high volume of matters and inquiries. They must have strong interpersonal skills, take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and be a self-starter with the resourcefulness to develop new strategies to effectively support the clients. The Corporate Accounting team is seeking a well-rounded, strong performer who will be a key contributor to the worldwide close process. The ideal candidate has corporate and/or public accounting experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to produce high quality work in a high energy team environment. The position can be located anywhere on the west coast and will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager. This role presents an outstanding growth opportunity for candidates who are looking to develop their experience in a Controllership organization.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral part in the worldwide close process through preparing, analyzing and reviewing assigned general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries, and other analysis to support the consolidated financial statements

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP for various accounting areas (for example, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, centralized allocations, and quarter-end accruals). Prepare and review accounting entries as appropriate

• Work closely with business partners and accounting teams worldwide to understand changes in the business and statutory requirements which impact US GAAP accounting areas

• Prepare flux analyses and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and schedules for management and external auditors as appropriate

• Prepare analysis of non-departmental costs for FP&A forecasts

• Review and prepare various cost allocations by functions

• Analyze technical accounting issues under US GAAP and prepare accounting memos addressing technical issues as required

• Analyze technical accounting issues and provide guidance to the Finance community, as required

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize the financial close process. These projects include information systems improvements as well as creating efficiencies with manual processes

• Government surveys

Minimum Requirements

• BA in Accounting or Finance with proven academic excellence

• 5+ years of related experience (minimum 2 years of public accounting experience a plus)

• A working knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Experience with BlackLine a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA qualification required

• Experience in multi-national public companies is preferred (Experience in software industry a plus)

• Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of relevant accounting principles under US GAAP

What you’ll do:

In addition, we have Core Teams that sell the entire Salesforce Platform and our Co Prime teams specialize in a specific cloud solution, including but not limited to, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Heroku or Quip.

Small Business - “SB” (1 - 45 employees)
Growth Business - “GRB” (46 - 200 employees)

Day to Day
Selling the entire Customer 360 Platform, or a specific cloud, across a set of Salesforce customers and/or new logos.

They do this by...
Having a deep understanding of the way businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level
Creating demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our solution
Uncovering business initiatives and pain points to map back our solutions across multiple lines of business
Building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions
Selling on value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
Generating pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment

Preferred Qualifications
Average of 2-5 years of full cycle sales experience, with at least 1 in the field with a proven track record of success
Experience managing and growing existing and/or net new logo accounts
Experience selling to the C-suite
Ability to craft a point of view and build credibility as a ‘Trusted Adviser’ with your customers
Experience building a business case and delivering return on investment
Ability to build and deliver presentations to your customers
Ability to strategize with a large extended internal team
Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer experience, work experience, etc.)
