As Artificial Intelligence Marketing Technology Manager, you will be the technological cornerstone of our marketing & experience team, driving innovation and efficiency through the strategic use of generative AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics. This role is pivotal in harnessing the power of AI for productivity enhancements, competitive differentiation, and disruptive transformation in healthcare marketing. You will spearhead the integration of AI technologies, guiding the team in becoming proficient and self-reliant in utilizing AI tools for a range of applications from content creation to strategic decision-making. This role is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating generative AI into healthcare marketing, shaping the future of healthcare experiences.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prototype, test, and implement new marketing uses of AI tools, ensuring alignment with corporate governance and IT policies.
- Train and support the marketing team in the effective use of AI tools for various functions including content creation, search engine optimization, customer engagement campaigns, and data analysis.
- Lead AI-driven projects for productivity improvements such as streamlining workflows, automated repetitive tasks, time-tracking, and optimizing project management.
- Develop AI use cases for strategic differentiation in marketing, including data-driven decision-making, campaign engagement analytics, personalization, immersive experiences and customer experience enhancement.
- Regularly evaluate and report on the effectiveness and impact of AI initiatives within the marketing & experience department. Share best practices and lessons learned to support a fast, iterative approach to adopting AI.
- Ensure all AI implementations adhere to brand, privacy, protection, and security standards.
- Other duties as assigned or requested.
- 5 years of proven experience in implementing and managing AI technologies in a marketing context
- 5 years of experience with innovative problem-solving and strategic planning
- 5 years of experience and expertise in data analytics and predictive modeling
Preferred
- 3 years of familiarity with healthcare industry standards, privacy, security, and compliance requirements
- 3 years of experience in project management and process optimization
- 3 years of experience in digital marketing, including Search Engine Optimization and content creation
- Strong technical proficiency in generative AI and related technologies.
- Excellent training and coaching skills for non-technical team members.
- Adherence to ethical standards, governance, and corporate compliance.
- Robust analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership qualities.
- Strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities.
- Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, marketing, or related field OR relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS
- Data science professional certificate
- Digital marketing professional certification
- Artificial Intelligence and/or machine learning certificate

Pay Range Minimum:
$92,300.00
Pay Range Maximum:
$170,800.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
