Key Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Group Sales Executive , where teamwork and collaboration are key! In this role, you'll work closely with various departments, focusing on converting and handling incoming inquiries. Unlike traditional reactive roles, you'll leave the contracting, planning, and payment tasks to the Reservations team, allowing you to focus on moving on to the next business opportunity.
You'll also be responsible for distributing leads that exceed our guidelines or fall within the portfolios of our Sales Managers and Directors of Sales. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in generating new business from our own platforms, databases, and historical data, optimizing existing opportunities while our sales team is out creating new demand. This position is ideal for a proactive in-house seller looking to excel in conversion and drive business growth.
Handling Enquiries: The role is responsible for:
Responding to group enquiries from all platforms (CVENT, HOTELPLANNER, MYEVENTSCHANNEL)
Managing enquiries from shared inboxes
Qualifying leads
Follow-up and conversion
Upselling on existing business (F&B, upgrades, M&E services)
Supporting SM & DOS: The position will assist with:
Monitoring enquiry funnels, generating reports, and tracking tentative bookings
Supporting SM in deploying local tactics and managing a small portfolio of MICE & GROUP agents for new business development
Demand Generation: Using on-site tools, the role will prospect new business from:
CVENT PLANNER and other business development tools
Past/lost business and cross-property business from other Hyatts/Cycas
Market research projects as directed by SM (e.g., prospecting new contacts at local universities)
Platform Management: The role will also update offers on all platforms and listings, manage the local database, and help generate demand from existing channels.
Building Relationships: The candidate will build rapport with agents, frequent clients, event organizers, and sales teams from sister properties.
Post Stay Survey, forward thinking approach to understand what went well or wrong during their stay and set foundations for future business.
