As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing lasting relationships with our external stakeholders. Working collaboratively with various departments, you'll tailor solutions for our current and potential clients, aligning with their training needs and internal strategies. This involves crafting bespoke programs, ensuring outstanding quality provision, developing resources, and ensuring smooth delivery in tandem with Delivery, Marketing, Curriculum, Quality, and Delivery teams.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy in line with HIT’s objectives
Identifying fresh market opportunities and potential growth areas among current and potential clients
Managing client accounts proficiently and leveraging HIT’s complete offerings, including commercial aspects
Keeping abreast of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
Collaborating with Sector Leads to identify and assess new business prospects, partnerships, and alliances
Assisting in negotiations to secure new business ventures with clients
Working with the Business Development team to nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
Ensuring client satisfaction and successful project delivery through collaboration with internal teams
Implementing strategies to drive revenue growth within current and prospective clients
Meeting set business development targets
About You
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Business Development Manager with a strong grasp of the apprenticeship and work-based learning landscape.
You’ll have the ability to sell to C-Suite and senior managers and navigate high-level relationships, with a proven track record of building relationships through all channels.
We’re also looking for strong commercial acumen and experience in meeting and exceeding business development targets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM systems is also required.

Our Senior Business Development manager can expect a competitive base salary of between £30,000 - £43,000, plus our benefits and commission package:
