YOUR ROLE
As part of our dedicated team overseeing the care of our cutting-edge Telecommunication and Optical equipment, you will play a pivotal role in conducting preventative maintenance, thorough investigations, examinations, and conditioning of on-site equipment and its associated sub-assemblies. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring optimal performance, and you'll use approved data to efficiently manage and maintain our equipment stock. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure individual production targets are met and ensure all job related paperwork is completed in line with KPI's
- At all times comply with Health & Safety policy as defined by the appropriate Processes and Health and Safety Data and a safe working environment is maintained.
- Ensure documentation and working practices comply with business quality procedures, requirements and standards
- Multiskilling across Technical Services work zones as business need dictates.
- Knowledge of workshop practices, and to be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Use trade skills and qualifications in conjunction with current approved data to be able to complete jobs effectively.
- Carry out line examination on returned stores in support of storehouse activities.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as directed by Front Line Manager (FLM)/Team Leader (TL).
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Recognised Electronics/Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in the relevant trade groups.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good Communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team
