Pay, benefits and culture
We can offer a competitive salary ranging from £54,391
- £84,892 and you'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement, as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

What you'll be doing
As a Project Control Lead, alongside reporting into the Project Controls Group Head, you will:
- Ensure full compliance with the Investment Delivery Process (IDP) requirements as well as ensuring consistency, coherence and adherence to planning and control standards
- Lead a Project Control Team, consisting of Planning and Cost Engineers to ensure consistency, coherence and adherence to planning and control standards across the portfolio
- Support the estimating process to ensure a control estimate is in place for cost monitoring purposes
- Carry out routine review/analysis of project controls and monthly reports
- Analyse trends within the portfolio and deliver feedback on areas of risk and opportunity
- Facilitate and maintain the Project change control and risk management processes
- Conduct forward planning and proactively contribute to the ongoing development of Project Control processes and tools to meet requirements
Who you are
As a Project Control Lead, you’ll ideally hold a HNC as a minimum requirement in a relevant subject, and have come from a Multi-Discipline, Engineering Project Management or Project Control environment, ideally within a highly regulated environment.
Project Control Lead’s will have a high level of analytical and numerate skills being proficient in the use of estimating, scheduling, programming and risk tools.
You’ll have a detailed understanding of Cost Management methodologies, techniques and relevant systems and tools including Primavera Planning Software Tool. You’ll also be proficient in the application of Earned Value concepts and tools, as well as working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
