The Job in a Nutshell

What Are We Looking For❓

• Minimum of 7 years of prior experience working in a PM role (bonus if within the mobility or geo-mapping industries).
• Previous experience in conceptualizing B2C product solutions, engaging with business stakeholders.
• Experience in working on mobile-first experiences with Android or iOS engineers.
• Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, to manage and close the loop on multiple concurring tasks - all whilst building healthy relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies and processes (e.g. sprints, kanban etc.)
• Data-driven and impact-oriented; comfortable in analysing, reporting and efficiently formulating insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders, partners and executive management.
• Knowledge of design thinking methodologies to create outstanding user experiences with the help of UX or product designers.
• BSc or MSc degree (or equivalent)

• To ensure the safeguard of all stored items by keeping the store locked when unattended.
• To issue and reorder stock and to ensure that no goods will leave the storeroom without proper authorized store requisition.
• To post on computer all in-out movement of goods from/to the store in a timely manner, so all stock data are kept current for more effective and timely management decisions.
• To conduct routine physical inventory and follow-up of all pending purchase requisition with the purchaser to ensure the timely replenishment of depleted stocks in accordance with the max/min par level defined by the management.
• To prevent loss, spoilage, breakage by carefully following the expired date of perishable items, monitoring the slow moving items and keeping store clean and tidy at all times.
• To be responsible for all documentation such as the Receiving Record, the Receiving Report and the Daily Summary Receiving Report as well as Slow Moving Item Report.
• To maintain the stores room in hygienic and systematic way.
• To generate timely and regularly  reports as  required by management

KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Centralises the needs of all the hotel's departments and ensures they are supplied. Optimises stock rotation.
• Ensures that deliveries correspond to orders and applies storage guidelines.
• Manages supplier relations.
• Indicates when stocks are running low or when they are excessive.
• Works in close collaboration with all hotel departments, maintaining regular contact
• In conjunction with the Heads of Department, is responsible for managing inventories and end-of-month closings in compliance with the administrative and accounting procedures.
• Justifies any gaps between the theoretical and real stocks, prepares plans
  Helps improve merchandise ratios.
• Applies the procedures regarding purchase orders, delivery slips and invoicing.
• Carries out hygiene checks on food items in line with HACCP standards (DLC, DLUO etc).

• Negotiate food prices, place required daily food orders and ensure prompt delivery

• Generate purchase orders on approval requisitions and obtain necessary authorization

• Obtain competitive price quotations and confirm purchase availabilities

• Provide the Financial Controller with a monthly summary of purchasing reports

• Coordinate regular inventories with storeroom personnel and department heads

• Coordinate capital project purchases with corporate purchasing and outside contractors

• Cultivate the sound supplier relationships

• Conduct regular quality control audits to ensure staff are performing their duties according to standard guidelines

• Conduct food supplier premise checks with the Chef before registering the supplier as a vendor to ensure supplier compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards

Role Description
