About Jai Kisan
Jai Kisan is building the first rural fintech full-stack platform to cater to the financial needs of borrowers in rural
emerging markets. Today, Jai Kisan facilitates secured and income generating loans to rural borrowers in India,
mostly farmers (more than 70% of rural India is depends on agriculture as their primary source of livelihood) from
various lending institutions through its mobile and web-based platform. The platform comprises a user-friendly
loan application tool utilizing a credit scoring engine of 200+ parameters for its farmers, a customizable loan
origination and management system for its lenders and a full-stack CRM solution for its channel partners. The
mobile and web interface is available at borrowers’ fingertips or at any of Jai Kisan’s technologically-enabled
channel partner locations. Jai Kisan has just raised ₹300 million ($3.94 million) in a pre-series A funding round led
by Arkam Venture. Also joining in the round was NABVentures — the VC arm of Indian development finance
institution (DFI), the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in its first-ever investment.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Management: Owning and managing the day to day operations while building a new business. Be on top of the metrics and numbers from various teams, understand the gaps, identify solutions and implement it
- Strategic Planning: Identify the bottlenecks and problems in current processes, fix them; Assist in development and execution of strategic plans, including product offerings, product roadmaps, and growth initiatives
- Team coordination: Coordinating between multiple teams & monitoring progress to ensure the timely delivery of the desired metrics
- Ops excellence: Ensuring adherence to the SOPs by various teams, Re-evaluating & refining of them if and when required
- Metrics Tracking & Analysis: Data is the key for understanding the ground realities. Be on top of all the daily metrics, find insights and evaluate possibilities.Â
What you need:
- MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 university
- 2-3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in startups
- Strong problem identification and solving skills, curious by nature, driven by data / numbers
- Passion for entrepreneurship & building things from scratch
- Desire to build business in profitable and sustainable way
- Zeal to work with various team and people to make things happen
