- Coordinates emergency resources and assists with the overall execution of activities of the Operations Section of the GACC.
- Monitors incident and administrative intelligence to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of dispatch center decisions.
- Conducts workload analysis, allocating resources and prioritizing incidents during periods of fire and non-fire activity and prescribed/planned fires (intra- and inter- geographic).
- Coordinates with federal and state agencies for ordering resources through the national dispatch system to support national emergencies and for providing information regarding the status of fire and non-fire activities.
- Ensures appropriate safety measures are used in mobilization and demobilization of personnel, equipment, supplies and aircraft utilized in incident support.
- Plans work to be accomplished, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
