Key Responsibilities:
- Employ your expert diagnostic skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks, including fluid replacements, filter changes, and tire rotations.
- Skillfully repair or replace malfunctioning components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Harness cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and technology to effectively troubleshoot complex problems and ensure the company's standards are met.
- Cultivate clear and effective communication with customers, elucidating necessary repairs and maintenance in an understandable manner.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of performed services and utilized parts.
- Remain updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in the automotive realm.
- Cleaning all parts and channels and passing roots of fluids with approved cleaners, troubleshooting and replacing defective parts.
- Road and static test of the suspension system, brake system, and wheel alignment
- Uphold stringent safety protocols and ensure an organized and efficient workspace.
- Conducting periodic services in accordance with service and maintenance manuals provided by the manufacturer.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven track record as a General Motor Mechanic or in a similar role.
Accredited trade qualification in automotive mechanics (Minimum Advanced Diploma: Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
In-depth understanding of vehicle systems, engines, and mechanical components.
Proficiency in utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and software.
Impeccable problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and team members.
Ability to collaborate both within a team and as an independent contributor.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
