Your new role

Role and Responsibilities:

General day to day upkeep and maintenance

• Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, with respect to all three properties;
• Ensure that Embassy physical security arrangements are functioning and well maintained, in line with the Embassy Security Plan;

Undertaking safety checks and risk assessments to comply with the requirements of Health and Safety, COSHH and other relevant legislation and school documentation
Ensuring that all equipment and materials are stored safely, securely, and in good condition
Safe disposal of used chemicals/hazardous waste
Keeping up to date with health and safety regulations and with developments in practical science
Working with other technical staff to assist in keeping areas neat, clean, tidy and in a safe condition in readiness for lessons, as well as cleaning and making safe spills, breakages and related incidents
Qualifications & ExperienceWe would like to hear from you if you have:

Qualifications to A Level or equivalent (A Level in either physics, chemistry or biology)
COSHH training as appropriate
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Good understanding of a range of chemicals and their properties

About the role:

We are looking for a Theatre technician to join our team at City and Islington Sixth Form College. Your primary responsibility will be to support the work of students and teachers of the Performing and Visual Arts Department and to respond to requests to organise, set up and operate wider college events and activities throughout the year. City and Islington Sixth Form College is a well-established and over-subscribed specialist A-level centre. We are situated on one site at Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. About you:

* Relevant degree
* Experience of working with 16-19-year-olds
* Experience of the working mechanisms of theatre and music performance including operation of projection cues, light and sound equipment, rigging, lighting and programming.
* Experience of using relevant software such as QLAB, Final Draft, Ion Desk, EOS Family software, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, video editing software, sound editing software, Logic Pro, maintaining performing art space and theatre equipment/ resources

* Expertise in filming and recording sound on Sony 4K camera- able to convert files to be sent to exam board

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Hybrid Technology Support Technician.
The post holder will assist with daily operations, deliver prompt and effective technical support and help manage system issues, ensuring that technical issues or requests are resolved swiftly and within designated service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing disruptions to technology services. They will support helpdesk tickets, and ensure data integrity across our systems. The post holder will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of campus technology systems.
The ideal candidate would have a strong passion for technology and a keen interest in IT support. They will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and an organised approach to tasks and documentation. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of DNS and DHCP. They will hold the ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate with various departments is essential, as is an ability to work flexibly with job tasks and working hours, work under little supervision and use initiative and own judgement in making decisions.

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and committed pharmacy technician? Would you like to join our pharmacy technician development program? You will undertake pharmacy-related duties across all sites in the Trust and will be based in Hackney (E9 6SR, E9 5TD, N4 2ES) You will be required to undertake ward stock top up and non-stock top up and participate in dispensary duties. You will use pharmacy electronic ordering systems to co-ordinate and maintain supply of medicines to wards and work with the other technicians to improve stock systems and reduce waste. You will also support the pharmacists with medicines reconciliation as well as undertaking audits and stock reviews.

We are enthusiastic about supporting our staff to develop, as such, you will be required to work across our pharmacy dispensary and clinical teams. You will be an accredited medicines management training (AIMMS) and/or Accredited checking technician training (ACT) or working towards it. You should have aBTEC / NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent and be registered on the UK GPHC professional registration.



1. To assist with the provision of a high-quality pharmacy optimisation service to patients of the

Trust.

2. Co-ordinates and maintains medication supply to the wards and teams.

3. Assesses identified patient’s individual pharmaceutical care needs within 72 hours of admission.

4. Initiates and completes a medicine reconciliation for each identified patient.

5. Is a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team, participating in weekly team meetings to maximise

patients’ potential for independent medicines optimisation.

6. To support the clinical pharmacy team in attaining CQUIN and KPI targets

7. Ensures all documentation in regard to Medications Optimisation on the unit is completed

accurately.

8. To participate in dispensary duties where applicable

9. To maintain Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) status

10. To prepare and maintain Medicines Optimisation (MOPs) accreditation.

11. To prepare discharge medication (TTAs) in a timely and efficient manner

12. To communicate discharge information to patients, Community Pharmacies and GPs

13. To participate in the weekend rota.
