• Responsible for the major areas in Public Health Nursing: Health Consultation Services-Child Youth Services, Disease Prevention and Control, and other Infectious Diseases and Health Promotion in support of the readiness of the warfighting forces.
• Identify health needs and apply primary prevention interventions through health education and health promotion programs.
• Conduct initial, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and as needed Health and Sanitation inspections for youth centers, school age services, child development centers, and/or family child care.
• Plan, direct, administer and evaluate a segment of the serviced population as part of epidemiology services.

The selectee will serve as a Cartographic Technician (Geospatial) in the Office of Protective Operations, Special Operations Division. Typical work assignments include:

1. Collecting, maintaining and analyzing spatial and non-spatial data utilizing GIS software to develop maps and other visual products.
2. Participating in the planning and the development of briefings on geospatial plans as they relate to integrated tactical coverage for National Special Security Events.
3. Leveraging programs such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS portal, ERSI City Engine to collect, edit, manipulate and generate interim and final digital data and GIS products such as Grid Reference Guides.
4. Coordinating and liaising with other Secret Service divisions and federal, state and local agencies to obtain data/information and tactical coverage.
5. Providing technical guidance and direction to USSS personnel and partners regarding usage and application of GIS data.
