Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
The main role of this position is to conduct periodic preventive maintenance to minimize the occurrence of faults and malfunctions as well as breakdown maintenance to equipment and facilities
- Daily inspection of physical facilities and equipment to ensure
- Assists to upkeep a list of spare parts
- Puts up requisition to replace faulty parts on facilities
- Trouble-shoots electrical/ technical problems and able to perform electrical repair and maintenance as required
- Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
- Ensures contractor/vendor adhere to KTS’s safety rule and policy.
- Performs administrative tasks as assigned such as submission of incidence reports, updating of facilities records, etc.
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec or equivalent certificate in Building, Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 1 or 2 years of relevant working experience in a factory environment/Electrical work
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Demonstrated problem solving skill
- Good interpersonal skills, strong technical background with analytical mind
- Proficient in MS Office
