Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum
* £30-£40k basic plus bonus, uncapped OTE - others are earning over £50k.
* Monday to Friday 8-5:30pm - 1 Late night every other Tuesday. NO SATURDAYS
* Well run family business with 20 years trading
Due to a recent workshop refurbishment and expanison, our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to add to their existing workshop team. Running for over 20 years a alongside an established and well-run Used Car Dealer based in Maidstone, our client is looking for an experienced candidate is looking for a new long term role where they can enjoy a positive work place and a good work life balance with no weekend working. They have a great track record and an excellent reputation based on firm foundations of outstanding customer service and delivering top vehicles at highly competitive prices.
* Good basic salary dependant on experience + a very competitive bonus scheme. Uncapped OTE and some technicians are earning in excess of £50k.
* Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30-6 - 1 Late night every other Tuesday. NO SATURDAYS
Candidate Requirements:
* Good all round technical and mechanical experience
* Wide range of brand experience
* MOT experience either current or lapsed would be an advantage
* Ability to work independently
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent time served
* Willingness to turn their hand to anything within the workshop
* Servicing Experience
* Diagnostic experience preferred but not essential
