SCPHN apprentice will work under direction and supervision with Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor, whilst continuing to work with the NMC Code and within the local policies and procedures of the supporting Trust for the legal and statutory requirements relating to clinical practice.

The SCPHN apprentice will support caseload delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, ensuring that care is evidenced based and safe levels of intervention are delivered and have the opportunity to work with the other School health functions.

The SCPHN apprentice will use a child centred and public health approach to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in school.

The SCPHN apprentice will be expected to engage and utilise learning opportunities, both in community and university settings, ensuring that by the end of the course the successful candidate has developed the knowledge base, skills and competencies work of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – School Nurse.

We are recruiting a Fire and Security Engineer to join our Fire and Security team, based in Banbury. You will form part of a dedicated team responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and installation on life safety and security systems such as Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, warden call and door access, ensuring the properties are safe and compliant. This role includes a company van as you will be based in Sutton Coldfield and will cover different areas across the Midlands. There are also opportunities for overtime, as and when required, at the rate of time and a half.

The role of Fire and Security Engineer will include:

- Carrying out the servicing, remedial works and installation of fire alarms, extinguishers and security systems, including warden call
- Maintaining systems including fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire shutters and curtains to ensure safe and compliant properties
- Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed

Skills and experiences:

Seddon Agency is looking to expand its operations and bring in new Security Operatives. The purpose of the role is to respond to incidents, carry out regular patrols, always provide a security presence and complete all security paperwork ensuring the safety of the client’s premises.

About the job:
Must be flexible for 12 hour shifts
Immediate Start
Control access to entrances and ensuring only authorised personnel are allowed to enter.
Keep a log of all site activity.
Complete all site security paperwork to include incident report, sign in/out sheets, patrols logs, daily logs and handover sheets.
To provide regular high profile external and internal patrols.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Prevents incidents and damage by providing a visual presence and reporting all incidents to the authorities.

Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Skills/experience required:
Surveillance Skills Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills. Valid SIA licence, communication, Basic IT skills. Experience

Deploying World-class Platforms.

As an Infrastructure Engineer in the Security Platforms team, you will be responsible for the operational stability of the infrastructure solutions and be able to affect change in the on-going robustness and resilience of those products.

You will collaborate with seniors and own Infrastructure Development Lifecycle Process as part of a delivery team focused on one or more products.

You will help ensure our security platforms are providing the required controls, in alignment with the NIST Cyber Security Framework and CIS Critical Security Controls.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? 

• Principals of Cyber Security Architecture - Design, Build, Maintain.
• An Understanding of ITIL service management.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure in on premise and cloud environments.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as code and DevOps principals.
• The ability to design, build and maintain monitoring systems and processes to ensure the smooth operation of live services.
