About the hiring company.

Our client is an established group of PLC listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. They are currently seeking a ICSA professional to assume the role of Assistant Company Secretary within the corporate secretarial services and its subsidiaries. The role would suit an ICSA qualified individual with previous secretarial experience ideally working within a listed environment. Please note that despite the position title name 'Secretary',the role is absolutely not clearical or private secretarial function in nature.

Job Description

As Assistant Company Secretary within PLC, you will support the Senior Company Secretary in ensuring the delivery of a professional, effective, high quality corporate secretarial service to support the activities of the Board, Shareholders and Executive team.

Key elements of the role.

*Assist in preparing Directors' resolutions,minutes of the Board,Committee and shareholders meeting and announcements to Bursa Malaysia.

*Organize,coordinate and attend Board/Committee meetings and AGM/EGM.

*Ensure timely submission statutory forms,returns and notifications in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia Listing requirements.

*Assist the Company Secretary in handling all aspects of corporate secretarial and share registration services.

*Assist in the preparation of annual reports and circulars to shareholders and provide corporate secretarial support for corporate exercises.

Candidate skills & experience

*Malaysian female in age group 30-45.

*ICSA qualified graduate.

*5-8 years of work experience in corporate secretarial role with exposure to public listed environment.

*Well versed with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements,Companies Act, corporate governance codes and regulations and applicable companies legislation.

*Knowledge in share registration is an advantage.

*Good strong communication skills with good command of English, both spoken and written.

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this Civil Rights Specialist (Civil Rights Specialist)- Reservist position, you will be a member of the Civil Rights Cadre and will provide administrative support to the Civil Rights Advisor and Lead.

Typical assignments include:

• Assisting in developing and performing research studies and evaluation projects of the implementation of civil rights policies and practices.
• Conducting community outreach and engagement to ensure that the civil rights message is articulated across all disaster designation.
• Preparing civil rights analytical data, staff reports, and memoranda reflecting upon equal protection of the law.

What else do I need to know?

At FEMA, our mission to help people before, during and after disasters; so, every employee at FEMA has a role in emergency management. Every FEMA employee has regular and recurring emergency management responsibilities, though not every position requires routine deployment to disaster sites. All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description. • Initiates and implements policies and procedures required to manage sensitive compartmented information (SCI) programs and to protect SCI resources.
• Acts as resident expert on all SCI security matters.

• Serves as the principal advisor to the intelligence unit commander/SIO on SCI, physical, computer, information, personnel, and administrative security.
• Manages and directs the activities and personnel of the unit Special Security Office.
• Plans and supervises work accomplished by assigned subordinates.
• Sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules based on organization priorities and missions
• Appoints Local SCI courier officials that have a requirement to courier SCI on base and coordinates with the Defense Courier Service (DCS).
• Administers the SCI security clearance program for all assigned personnel, ensuring all required clearances are up-to-date and completed.
• Terminates or transfers SCI clearances for out-processing personnel.
• Provides oversight of unit and SSO security self-inspections and presents detailed and comprehensive reports with corrective action taken to the unit intelligence commander/SIO.
• Follows-up to ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies.
• Represents the intelligence unit to a variety of installation and functional areas, including national-level organizations.
• Interfaces directly with DoD, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, US Army, US Air Force, Air Intelligence Agency, major commands, combatant commands, and other national-level agencies to evaluate, guide, and adjust unit programs to meet changing security needs and requirements as personally assessed or as directed.
