Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor based in Derby working on power schemes across England. This reputable multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the power sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, including chartership. They boast an impressive list of high-profile clients they work with and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Engineer.
Your new role
As Site Engineer you will be responsible for, but not limited to, checking plans and drawings, overseeing the selection/requisition of materials, interpreting design documents, liaising with key stakeholders, planning works and organising plant, preparing reports when required as well as setting out, levelling and surveying sites.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will ideally have at least 2 years' postgraduate experience in site engineering within the civil engineering industry and be familiar with robotic total station instruments. In addition, you will hold a CSCS card and be willing to commute and lodge (when required) to sites across England. Finally, you will be a results-driven individual and have strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
