This is a fast-paced dynamic role and would suit an individual who enjoys the challenge of working in a mobile capacity across the Leicestershire region at night. The successful candidate should be comfortable with independent working alongside a team of other drivers.
Prime Role and Key Responsibilities:
To provide security patrol responsibilities across a wide range and variety of sites as well as support cover for static guarding sites when required. Attending alarm call outs and where possible remedying any issues on site. This requires an individual capable of problem solving and willing to train on the systems prior to deployment. To provide support for locking and unlocking clientās facilities as well as conducting welfare checks and responding to alarm activations. Completing all necessary paperwork and contacting clients when necessary.
Mobile Security Patrol Officer should:
Ā· Understand the basics of (or know where to access) standards, policies and procedures, as well as instructions for attending Customer premises
Ā· Understand escalation procedures and departmental functions around the business
Ā· Follow direction from their supervisor or Line Manager
Ā· Provide reports as required
Ā· Ensure they always display a valid SIA license and Company ID Card
Ā· Ensure their uniform is always smart and presentable
Ā· Ensure a reasonable level of fitness
Ā· Demonstrate the ability to work to time constraints
Ā· Be comfortable driving at night in rural and urban environments.
Ā· Have some basic IT & Technical confidence (using Apps and Alarm Panels)
While performing your duties you must be able to work autonomously and take responsibility. You should ensure a high-quality output of work and ensure that processes are followed and instructions from the Supervisor are followed. Response Officers should liaise professionally with the Control Room team and Customers alike. It is essential that Response Officers ensure compliance to industry standards, company policies and procedures for their shift. All documentation and records are to be completed correctly.
Key Responsibilities
Ā· Respond to activations/conduct patrols/attend sites professionally and within the required timescale. Where possible remedy issues on site
Ā· Liaise with the Police, Fire Service and other agencies in an emergency and on all issues affecting security, surrounding customer premises (or escalate via a supervisor or the Control Room team)
Ā· Assist Control Room Operatives during incidents by advising them of appropriate action to be taken and supporting colleagues where necessary
Ā· Deal with emails and respond to ad-hoc requests
Ā· Complete daily tasks ā duty sheet, incident reports, conduct handovers and communications and all required paperwork to a high standard
Ā· The post holder will ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and those under their control in accordance with company policies.
Ā· To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
Ā· Any other reasonable requests from the management team
Other duties may include:
ā¢ When necessary, provide Security Officer cover on static sites.
ā¢ Conduct foot patrols professionally and within the required timescale to include locking/unlocking the premises.

ā¢ Depending on the site, monitor CCTV

This is a full-time/ Part-time role, on 12-hour shifts.
Due to the nature of the role, there may be some last-minute changes to the established pattern so flexibility will be key. Shifts may comprise Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Bank Holidays and Public Holidays.
