Salary: £37,336 to £44,428 per annum.
Location: Your office base will be in Chichester; you will have the option to work from home depending on the service requirements.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week. With flexible working arrangements to be discussed.
Employer Pension Contribution: 20.70%, alters 1st April annually.
Annual leave: 27 to 30 days + bank holidays = 35 to 38 days.

You will deliver a customer focused approach and will undertake a range of tasks including:
- Providing technical expertise on highways project related issues.
- Supporting on safety audit service.
- Supporting on speed management and casualty reduction schemes.
- Manage consultants and contractors.
- Planning and organising structural inspections.

What we need from you
- Customer service skills and the ability to seek and introduce continuous improvement and innovation, for self and team.

- Knowledge of relevant highways and transportation standards and procedures.
- Political awareness when working with members/senior management.
- Evidence of applying knowledge and providing advice in relation to specific specialist area.
- Experience of delivering a highways improvement projects.

- Ability to identify problems independently.
