As a Prison Security Escort, you will work alongside the prison service, assisting our client who is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in the team's delivery of security and have a firm focus on delivering high levels of customer service.

Main Duties:

• Acting as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service
• Investigate and report all allegations of loss, theft, criminal damage and other incidents
• Fire, security and building systems monitoring
• Managing crowd safety and queue management
• Help ensure the safety of all residents, guests and staff at sites throughout your shift
• Monitoring and maintaining the pedestrian flow at key areas inside and outside the arena
• Be aware of and react to emergency situations as detailed in the Incident and Emergency Plans
• Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft and criminal activity

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• SIA Licence is essential.

• Maintain and improve Information Security and Cyber-monitoring activities to actively seek indicators of compromise and stop unauthorised access

• Own and report on CyberArk safe inventory compliance and appropriate utilisation in accordance with internal policy.
• Monitor the ongoing security of VWFS using specialist tools and techniques to identify indicators of compromise and threats to confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT Systems
• Support Cyber incident response and decide on appropriate intervention and escalations with the Security Operations Lead. Similarly, arrange additional forensic support as required and contribute to investigation efforts to determine root cause and further actions
• Plan and conduct Security Assessments using internal tools and third party expertise (e.g. Cyber assessment), to identify security threats to the business and then propose and agree further action.
• Operate programme penetration testing activities, in conjunction with third parties and internal IT teams to proactively simulate cyber-attacks and expose vulnerabilities before exploited
• Support cyber threat remediation activities e.g. re-design, patching, system upgrade and configuration changes
• Contribute appropriate KRI/KPI to routine reporting to ensure transparency and enable effective management of Information Security
• Share team responsibility for maintaining and implementing Information Security and IT Risk policies in accordance with global standards, local needs and leading practice
• Support the development of the Information Security Management System by recommending enhancements and best practice to the Security Operations Lead.
• Conduct regular training for employees in security awareness, policy and processes.

To work alongside all guest services departments in a large shopping centre and an operational control room

• Ensuring your SIA license is always with you whilst on duty and any changes to license details are communicated.
