Thurrock Council has invested in technology to become more efficient and reduce costs to meet its future budget savings and to improve services for its citizens. The ICT Department is at the forefront of designing and delivering technology and automation solutions that will drive transformational change, streamline processes, and create efficiencies and savings.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the core Digital Initiatives within the ICT Team. We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer, certified and experienced who can contribute to and grow our capability and capacity of that function and augment our pipeline of automation projects from day one.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead project development
- Develop and share development best practice
- Participation in new product release testing and enablement
- Build and support developments which are delivered to time, budget and agreed specification
- Quality Assure peers developments
- Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing and defect resolution
- Identification and development of internal development opportunities
- Participating and/ or overseeing of multiple development projects simultaneously
- Participating in identification, development and testing of any new platform products and features
- 3rd line customer support for development issues
Key Competencies
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a development role.
- Experience with the Power Platform
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven delivery experience
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible working in a fast-paced fluid environment
- Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
- Strong written skills to create/ update documentation
- Strong verbal communication skills at all levels
