The Operation Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in . One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production. We are transitioning to a hub-and-spoke model where ore could be transported from potentially new sources and operations. This is all part of the Tritton Way Forward our innovative approach to ensuring the continued and future success of our Tritton Operations.

Key responsibilities:
You will be designing, developing and maintaining data-centric applications using modern software development practices. You will be working in a batch processing, ETL environment, where the emphasis is on managing large volumes of data at scale and speed. Most of your software development will consist of a mix of .NET, C# and T-SQL.

We’re looking for:
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, working in C# and .NET
• 4+ years of experience working in database technologies including MS SQL Server and SSIS
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (GIT/TFVC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A quick learner, who can swiftly acquire the business domain knowledge necessary to be a productive team member
• Motivated, self-directed team player who will work closely with the team and provide support to internal customers
• Ability to mentor less experienced software developers
• Passion for technology and innovation
• Experience working with Azure Service Fabric, NServiceBus, RabbitMQ (desirable)
• Experience working in PostgreSQL, Python, Linux, Hadoop (desirable)
