Deputy Home Manager (Children's Service)

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join our client's residential team. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Home Manager and overseeing the day-to-day operations of this children's service. Qualifications

• Proven track record within a residential children's home, with management experience
• Level 4 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A clear understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures

Da y-to-Day

• Assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the children's service
• Providing leadership and support to the care staff
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Participating in the recruitment and training of staff
• Building positive relationships with the young people and their families
• Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans
• Taking an active role in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion within the service
• Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to support the well-being of the young people
• Participating in the on-call rota and providing cover in the absence of the Home Manager
