This is a manual role that does involve some heavy lifting.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 12am midnight until 9am.
If the work is completed before 9am you are allowed to finish early and you are still paid for the full shift.

The basic pay rate is £11.44 per hour
After 12 weeks the rate increases to £11.94 for workers over the age of 21.

Overtime is also paid after 12 weeks, at time and a half, and double time.

About this role:
The Essex Services Manager will be responsible for running the High, Medium and Low Services and delivery of a first-class service in line with the support services offered. Main Duties:

• Ability to work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to identify support needs of service users and ensure that these are communicated to the wider staff team
• Ability to plan, manage and prioritise a high workload to meet deadliness

You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating port operations for shipping companies which includes liaising with ship captains, port authorities and clients to ensure smooth vessel arrivals and departures and handling appropriate documentation, customs clearance, acting as a main point of contact and liaising with relevant parties.

- You will have experience as a Ships Agency Operator/ Boarding Agent and/or in a similar role within the shipping industry, ideally with a qualification in maritime studies, logistics or a related field
