Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
· Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
· Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of vacancies.
· Implement effective strategies for attracting and retaining skilled talent in the manufacturing sector.
Employee Relations:
· Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
· Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
· Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and address concerns to maintain a healthy work environment.
Payroll Legislation
· Coordinate and manage the entire payroll process.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes.
· Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
· Stay updated on labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
· Implement and update payroll policies and procedures in accordance with legal changes.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll administration.
· Stay abreast of industry best practices and implement changes accordingly.
Performance Management:
· Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
· Coordinate the annual performance review process and provide guidance to managers on goal-setting and performance improvement.
HR Policy and Compliance:
· Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
· Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations, and update policies accordingly.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Ensure competitive and fair salary structures for employees.
· Administer employee benefit programs and communicate changes to employees.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
· Utilize HR data and analytics to generate reports and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
· Monitor key HR metrics and propose improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an HR manager, in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of Info-tech system will be an added advantage
· In-depth knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
