Vanrooy Machinery is now looking for an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

Check and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults;
Post assembly or re-assembly testing of operation and making any necessary adjustments;
Maintaining professional communications with suppliers and customers to advise on correct operating procedures to ensure safe manufacturing standards;
Test equipment using mechanical and sensing equipment for electrical and electronic testing;
Use electrical and mechanical knowledge to test, diagnose and repair issues and faults;
Adjust, repair, reassemble and replace worn and defective parts and wiring;
Run cables and wires;
Interpreter drawings, manuals and instruction to perform maintenance and installations;
Apply hydraulic and mechanical skills for the installation and maintenance of general water supply systems and thermal power plants;

About you:

At least 2 years of experience as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker;
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge;
Ability to safely use power tools;
Ability to read and interpret blueprints;
Strong communication and team player skills;

Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
