Join our team! We are looking for our newest, key strategic member to join our catering team in our award-winning brand, Caterplus - one of the UK's leading catering services specialising in the care sector.
As a Care Development chef, you will be leading a team of chefs and combining understanding of the care sector and knowledge of what's on trend, encouraging creativity and excitement in our kitchens, allowing teams to do what they do best and provide fantastic food experiences for the residents.
What you'll be doing... Your key responsibilities as the Healthcare Executive Development Chef will consist of:
- To co-ordinate and manage all food development activity. Including supporting designing and presenting winning menus and concepts.
- To deliver compelling and appropriate food presentations that demonstrate quality, taste and innovation.
- Coaching and developing Chefs across the business.
- Visit sites and work with teams, residents, and clients to enhance the offer further.
- Attend sales tender meetings with a view to surveying the site and to represent the Chef team with prospective clients and consultants involved in the process.
- To work closely with the wider Development Chef teams and constantly bring innovation and new ideas to the business development team.
- Design and deliver competitions for the catering teams and residents.
- To build the Caterplus network through creating relationships with external partners.
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week
