What You'll Be Doing:
As the Chef at Stella's Dromana Hotel, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every dish reflects the quality and creativity we’re known for. Here’s what you’ll dive into:
1. Menu Design: Collaborate on seasonal menus that showcase local flavors, creating dishes that delight both regulars and new visitors.
2. Culinary Execution: Prepare and cook a variety of meals, maintaining consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
3. Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen activities, including stock control, ordering, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and prepared to perfection.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Chef who is passionate about food, dedicated to quality, and ready to bring new ideas to the table. Ideal candidates will have:
1. Qualifications: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
2. Experience: At least 2 years as a Chef in a high-volume setting, preferably in a restaurant or hotel.
3. Skills: Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in a range of cooking techniques.
4. Personal Traits: Creative, reliable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. A team player who’s ready to take the lead and ensure kitchen excellence.
5. Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.
