Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Broad view of USG economic policy and is able to lead intra- and inter-agency discussions to ensure EXIM's goals and objectives align with the Administration's policies and its statutory mandates.
• Oversees the administrative budget (e.g. travel and training) for the Banking and Financial Products Division, advising the Senior Vice President and Deputy Senior Vice President on how to handle political level issues arising within the Division, providing guidance to Division staff on priorities and objectives, and assigns projects and assignments to Division staff.
• Serves as a key member of the senior staff within OPAIR. Represents the Banking and Financial Products Division and advises the OPAIR Senior Vice President and Deputy Senior Vice President in developing strategies, planning tactics and implementing policy and program actions related to implementing Charter mandates, Administration goals and accomplishing the Bank's objectives.
• Develops and manages directives from the OPAIR SVP and Deputy SVP concerning the analysis of EXIM guarantee and insurance programs. Develops proposals, programs and policy options to maximize the role of commercial banks and other funding sources including the Private Export Funding Corporation (PEFCO).

• Coordinates eDiscovery efforts among litigation teams, outside counsel, FDIC IT personnel and other agency stakeholders.
• Provides technical advice in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of eDiscovery support systems (whether on-premises or cloud-based) and related hardware of significance to the storage and recovery of electronically stored information.
• Analyzes and makes recommendations regarding plans for the development, issuance, and implementation of policies that direct the course of eDiscovery litigation support across organizational lines.
• Implements determined necessary upgrades and improvements to existing eDiscovery applications.
• Provides guidance and collaborates with outside litigation support consultants retained to provide technical services to FDIC attorneys during investigations, discovery, trial and regulatory enforcement proceedings.
• Participates in various aspects of contracting, including the development of selection factors for litigation support contracts, cost/benefit analyses for use in evaluating competitive bids, task order development, and performance-based contracting.

Your responsibilities:

As a financial consultant, you will work closely with our clients which are major banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, corporate and other players in the capital markets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on Murex best practices in the organizational modeling in MX.3, transaction lifecycle management, confirmation and matching of transactions, settlements, position management, and financial reporting
• Contributing to client-site MX.3 implementations during the requirements gathering, design, build, test and deployment phases by participating in workshops, preparing documentation, configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests.
• Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activities
• Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team
• Providing internal and external training

In addition to the above, you may also serve as a functional expert in the sales process.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of Murex experience (in Murex or elsewhere)
• Degree in related computing or financial engineering
• Strong academic background in business, finance, mathematics, and accounting
• Financial products knowledge in FX, FXD, IRD, EQD
• In-depth business knowledge in Murex pre-trade workflow, eTradepad, P&L reporting
• Murex post-trade workflow
• Trade Lifecycle, settlement, market data, GOM
• Technical skills – Unix, Linux, Sybase, scripting in various languages
