The Sr Merchant Sales Officer (MSO) manages a portfolio of clients and prospects, providing Merchant advisory and positioning and selling solutions that address their Merchant’s processing needs.  The Sr MSO proactively identifies opportunities to grow net new business to the firm, provides high level advisory to deepen relationships with existing clients by working closely with Global Commercial Banking, Global Transaction Services, and the broader Merchant organization.  This individual can provide a high level of advisory to clients and translate these opportunities into incremental business for the firm.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role within the team, leading the daily activities of the Accounting Department. This involves ensuring streamlined accounting procedures, supervising the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, managing prompt month-end closure, and creating financial statements that adhere to both generally accepted accounting practices and Credit Union policies. • Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.

• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts.

Position Summary

The Teller is responsible for performing member banking transactions, providing education on banking services available, and communicating banking products to members. This includes completing deposits, withdrawals, and other financial interactions while providing excellent member service to all members. The role may provide support and coverage to other branches and perform related teller duties as assigned.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Recommends and assists members with convenient technology solutions including but not limited to Online Banking, mobile applications, etc.
• Provides timely responses to members and other team member requests.
• Cash checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of the fund to support withdraws.
• Accepts deposits, confirming the accuracy of transactions.
• Prepares, verifies, and issues cashiers’ checks, bank, and personal money orders, etc.
• Enters transactions in the bank’s recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing member receipts.
• Evaluates checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of persons receiving payments, bank names, and overall legality of the documents.
• Balances all monies in cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Accepts and counts inventories of cash, drafts, and travelers’ checks each day.
• Accountable for the vault, dual-control access at the branch location.
• Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records.
• Prepares monies for deposit or shipment to branch banks or the Federal Reserve Bank. 
• Orders a cash supply to meet daily needs.
• Adheres to all security policies for the branch, including the opening and closing procedures of the branch.
• Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and Wellby policies and procedures, including but not limited to completing and submitting Currency Transaction Reports, being knowledgeable of signs of unusual financial activities, and reporting signs of unusual activity and/or completing reporting for Suspicious Activity Report as appropriate per procedure.
• Completes all mandatory compliance testing by deadlines. Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and Wellby policies and procedures. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions and general operating policies and procedures.

Work Hours

• To meet the department’s needs, overtime work is sometimes necessary, and team members may be required to work overtime hours as assigned. 
• Shifts may be staggered (between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. CST) and will include weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in member service, financial services, or similar retail experience preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with the public.
• Flexibility to support other branches based on business needs.

The Finance Discovery Rep Rotational Program offers graduating students the opportunity to experience corporate finance through the lens of a Fortune 100 company. Selected co-workers will move within three, three-month rotations through Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Credit, and Accounting. This will provide our co-worker with a broad range of experience and understanding, helping to grow their finance career. At the conclusion of the program, you will be assessed by our managers and consulted with prior to full-time placement. Role Description

FNZ Securities USA, headquartered in New York City, is a self-clearing broker-dealer which provides fully disclosed clearing and custody services to introducing broker-dealers and RIAs in the wealth management space. We are currently going through the application process with FINRA to become a licensed clearing broker-dealer and we expect to commence operations in 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Credit Risk Manager to play a critical role in establishing FNZ Securities as a key player in the market. You will be key in helping to plan for and build out the operations and credit technology, processes, and team prior to commencement of operations.

Specific Role Responsibilities

• Lead a team of credit professionals and provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Develop and implement credit risk policies to ensure effective risk mitigation. Assess the creditworthiness of clients, counterparties, and other potential business partners.

• Establish and maintain credit policies in compliance with industry regulations. Monitor and evaluate margin levels, ensuring they align with market conditions and regulatory requirements.

• Stay abreast of relevant financial regulations, ensuring the firm's credit and margin practices comply with local and international standards. Interact with regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and facilitating audits.

• Work closely with 1st line of defense partners in trading, margin, and operations to ensure seamless coordination of credit risk related issues. Collaborate with technology teams to enhance and optimize credit and margin systems.

• Monitor and analyze credit exposures, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate actions.

• Generate regular reports on credit and margin exposures for senior management.

• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Develop risk assessments and market scenario hypothetical to ensure proper adherence to the firm’s risk tolerance.

• Collaborate with the sales team to assess and manage potential risks associated with new client onboarding. Engage with relationship teams to discuss credit requirements and address client inquiries.

Experience Required

• 7+ years of industry-relevant experience managing credit risk functions in a self-clearing US broker-dealer operating in the wealth management space.

• Currently holds a FINRA Series 24 license.

• Deep understanding of the US securities industry and brokerage operations with experience in StreetSide operations, custody, and clearing

• Demonstrated experience providing guidance and applying operational and credit risk principles and concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teams across functional boundaries to ensure efficiency of operations and effective risk management.

• Willingness to adapt and respond appropriately to new demands, priorities, challenges, and obstacles.

• Data driven and able to analyze metrics and trends, such as monitoring key metrics and data to evaluate performance.

• Highly effective in establishing relationships with key stakeholders.

• Strong communicator who is able to clearly articulate priorities and issues to senior management and teammates and to motivate and clearly communicate expectations to operations staff.

• Experience managing credit at a self-clearing broker-dealer that provides trade, clearing, and custody services to introducing broker-dealers. 

• Experience reporting directly to the executive management and working closely with other executives to align on credit risk strategy with the firm’s overall business strategy.

• Experience managing teams in multiple locations and leveraging shared services.

• Ensure risk is well monitored and supervised across funds, and develop expertise in our risk management processes and infrastructure
